And the PIF Orders Keep Rolling In!!!
I just sold a bunch of PIF earrings over the weekend and was so amazed to see all the acts of kindness being spread around! Here are a few:
Hello! I believe I'm supposed to tell you a good deed I did...
Around the holidays (and year round) our local shelter, Gleaner's Kitchen, seeks donations of canned goods. This weekend, I donated cans to Gleaner's.Thanks! Sarah
Hi :).... I don't have an etsy shop, but the good deed I did today was to donate money to Prevent Child Abuse America. Thank you! Amber
Thanks friends! Make this the best Christmas season ever by giving kindness and joy that will last forever instead of "stuff" that will fade with time.

We are featured on KraftyKash Blog
Wow! Check out KraftyKash.blogspot.com to see our shop's PIF's featured. We love PIF's and hearing back about the acts of kindness spread in exchange for a pair of handmade earrings. Check out our Baubles and Pearls Etsy shop and order some today for great little stocking stuffers for Christmas. Spread some acts of kindness! Where else can you get a great gift at a sweet price and feel good about the kindness you are spreading too! Thank you Kashoan for spreading the word!
For those of you wondering "What is a PIF?" Here is the answer. A PIF is a product on Etsy given to someone with the stipulation that they will do an act of kindness in return. The buyer is usually asked to pay the listing fee of $.20 plus shipping and packaging on the item. My PIF earrings are $.20 for each pair of earrings and $3.00 for shipping and packaging for the first and $2.00 for each subsequent one ordered.
Here are a few of the kindnesses done for PIFs
I don't have an Etsy shop, so I paid for the person behind me in the coffee shop drive through this morning :) Andrea
I plan on taking my brother out for dinner as a nice suprise for him. Amy
I don't have an Etsy account, but I'd wanted to let you know how I paid this forward: I sponsored two students (at $25 each) via Vittana.org (an organization that allows others to help students pay their way through school). Michelle
The earrings were beautiful, very well crafted and I cannot wait to use them to raise money for the American Cancer Society. BaublesAndPearls was very gracious in the offer to allow me to purchase them at the price I did to raise money to aid in Cancer research! Thank you for your Support and your beautiful earrings. (and later post...) I want to thank you again for your earrings with your help we have raise 3100 dollars to date. Mojotosmellie
I think these earrings are absolutely gorgeous! They are so sparkly :) As this was a pay it foreward listing I'd like to say my pif act. My parents have gotten to the point ehich they can't take care of their pets anymore, at least the cats. One of the cats has gotten to old and had to be put down but they didn't know what to do with the other cat. After much debate my fiance and I decided to take her in. She wasn't a very friendly cat at my parents but after she got settled here she's just wanted to be around the three of us(my fiance, son and I).
My best friend is going to love these, thanks! My good deed was returning one hundred and twenty dollars to a guy who dropped it out of his pocket on the river. BretM7125
The other day I was driving home from a doctor's appointment. I was tired. I was ready to get home. Then, in the middle of the street was a young man who was clearly mentally challenged, just wandering on this busy road. I drove past and then I slammed on my breaks, put the car in park in the median, put on my hazards, left it running and I ran after this boy. He wanted to hold my hand. I grabbed onto his hand and said, "Sweetie, let's get you off the side of the road." I waited with him, holding his hand and reading his peter pan books with him until paramedics and cops showed up and I was no longer needed.
Another thing I did for someone, (if this gets me two, then so be it, but I enjoy sharing good deeds) was a friend. She told me she had been struggling financially. She was living w/ her mom, had a full time job and would go hungry at night. I made a casserole for her, some green beans, brought over a bottle of wine and we had a nice time. I hadn't seen this friend for 10 years but it was as if time hadn't happened. We were just as good of friends now as we were back then. It's amazing what food and wine can do for a friendship. about the deed, i gave some euros to poors people :) artictstella
I came across your listing as I was searching for earrings to wear in my wedding. I was particularly intrigued to find that these gorgeous earrings are listed as a PIF, and gladly take the challenge. As a creator (knitter, to be exact), I have spent many hours laboring over hats for homeless shelters, Knitted Knockers for breast cancer survivors, and blankets for hospitals. Your listing reminded me to take a few minutes away from the looming pile of wedding invitations that have somehow taken over the entire house to go back to those projects that help others. I haven't decided what specifically I will do to pass it on, but I will be sure to let you know when I do. Thank you for your listing and it's inspirational message-- it came at the perfect time. : ) Samantha
Today my friend had to stay home sick. I am unemployed, so I offered to take care of her small child so she could rest.
Just yesterday I made the decision to donate to a radio-a-thon called Lend a Helping Hand which benefits 11 charities across my state! I also made the decision that this year I am going to donate to a toy drive for Christmas. My kids are so lucky and blessed, I want to teach them to pay it forward to those who aren't as lucky! Sabrina
These look awesome. I love your idea...I covered for the secretary today so she could go to the lounge to eat her lunch instead of eating at her desk. KaleidoscopeEyes8
Your jewelry is beautiful!!! I'm thinking these will look lovely on my 3 year old daughter who is from Ghana. I don't have an ETSY shop. I'd like to PIF by donating an addition $5 to go to the adoptive families you are helping to raise funds for. We've adopted 4 times. I know how it is! Anita
